World première of Bryan Ferry's new video on Monday

For some reason known only to himself Bryan has decided to air his new video for the first time ever on the Daily Telegraph website. God damn you man, I'm tired of defending your Conservatism - you ain't doing yourself any favours, you know?!

Tarts night out at the Shepherd's Bush Empire

You Can Dance is the first single from the forthcoming album Olympia, released on 2nd August and 25th October respectively. From the stills available on the Bryan Ferry website, the video looks like a Gold Blend advert in the style of Avalon meets Manifesto. DJ Hell released his version of the song earlier this year and GOD it was awful.  Fingers crossed then for this first taster of the new album.

Oh yes, it's aired for the first time ever on Monday 19th July at 15.00h on telegraph.co.uk, more details on the website nearer the time. Can I respectfully suggest to Mr Ferry that he seek a different PR company because the way the solo album, the Roxy tour and website, the solo single and its video have all been just thrown out into the media has been as shambolic as the Roxy performance on the final Jonathan Ross show last night. What with that and the price of the forthcoming tour tickets (£65 - £195 on a good day), it has not been a good weekend to be a Roxy fan!
