After 116 minutes of the dreariest and, as far as the Dutch were concerned, dirtiest football of the tournament, Iniesta saved us from enduring penalties - for by this time we didn't care who won - with an admirable goal, the celebration for which earned him a yellow card. It summed up what was, on the whole, a pretty desperate evening for Howard Webb, who was jeered by the crowd whilst collecting his referee's medal. I just hope that is the last time I ever hear the noise of those fucking vuvuzelas.
